"READ... this title... in the --STYLE... of William Shatner."
Welcome to the most brilliant app you never knew you absolutely needed. Neither ironic joke nor parody, the Shatoetry app really does feature the one-and-only William Shatner reading poems of your own design. I can only recommend that you download it immediately.
Arrange words against a psychedelic rainbow background of Shatner himself looking characteristically aghast. Tap the words to make them either once or twice larger for emphasis. Add short and long pauses. Finally, when your poetic creation is complete, hit the "Shat That!" button to hear your prose recited aloud by the man himself. Yep, the real William Shatner really recorded every single word in the app, and it is way too much fun to hear him read out totally surreal poetry in his unmistakable style.
Just like its real-life magnetic poetry counterpart, having to scroll through the words in a semi-blind search is part of the fun, although there's a complete searchable wordlist if you truly must. If the listed vocabulary isn't enough to satisfy your inner Keats, you can purchase additional word packs within the app.
If you've composed something truly beautiful, share the Shat with friends through either screen captures or YouTube videos.
1st Playable Productions' Shatoetry is thoroughly fantastic.
